RHL BEACH RACE 2011 - JOIN THE EVENT CREW
The RHLBeach Race is now in its 29th year of running. The event runs over a three day period, with main race days being over the weekend from Friday 7th October 2011 to Sunday 10th October 2011. RHL Activities is looking for some members to join the event crew for the weekend!
All competitors have to sign on and have their bikes checked on the Friday of the event.
The event attracts 2,000 competitors from the amateur to the world class professionals.
The build up for the event starts ten days before and takes at least a week to break down, with over 200 contractors coming on site to build up this spectacular weekend of entertainment.
Planning for the event is a 12 month work load with the planning for each years event commencing immediately after the prior year.
Each year the event organisers strive to improve the facilities, service and customer experience be it from the rider, spectator, trader, promoter.
As the Company grows, it is moving to employ more temporary staff to bring numerous facilities in house, from general administration, ticketing and sales and marketing and promotion.
RHL is known as one of the top organisers and promoters of Motorcross events and is used for consultancy basis by many councils and government bodies, when reviewing this sport

Hospitality
To work within our hospitality marquee, to serve tea and coffee all day
Possible serving of wine
Ensure tables are cleared away and kept clean
General care of the hospitality marquee
Prepare hospitality marquee at end of day for following day opening
Hospitality Front Of House
This is an important role, working alongside RHL consultant as the first point of contact for our VIP and Media guests.
Checking and ensuring only invited guests are within the hospitality marquee.
Dealing with customer queries
Ensuring information and literature is all displayed and presented in an orderly manner
Liasing with catering, waitressing and RHL team in ensuring the smooth running of this high profile hospitality area
Event Secretary
Must have excellent communication skills.
Proficient in word and excel
Able to take minutes at meetings
Create agendas
Create action points, from information relayed
Able to work well under pressure
Contractors Crew
Be fully trained in manual handling
To work as part of the build up and break down crew
Transponders
Split role
Issuing rider transponders under the guidance of our timing team. Full training to be given
Cross referencing transponders to rider numbers
Issuing instructions to riders in connection with the correct operation of their transponders.
To work on the track within our run off lanes, cutting transponders off riders bikes
Distributing transponder receipts for riders to hand in at the welcome office
Litter Pickers
To work alongside our core waste management crew.
