Mechanics Race Announced For Weston Beach Event
RHL Activities has announced that this year's Weston Beach Race will include a mechanics relay race for professional teams during the solo event on Sunday the 12th October.
A team of four can enter on one machine for this fun race, which allows mechanics to take part in the famous beach event while still supporting their various solo riders. It will run in a relay format with each rider competing for 45 minutes before swapping with another team member.
Only professional teams are allowed to enter and anyone interested in taking part should contact RHL Activities director Gareth Hockey directly through the Weston Beach Race website. World Grand Prix team CAS Honda has already confirmed its entry for this exciting event and Team manager Neil Prince, along with three mechanics, will each take it in turn to ride during the three-hour race. They are looking for other teams to challenge them and RHL Activities will donate £500 to the winning team's charity.
